How We Clean Your Carpets
Every job follows the same proven process used by professional cleaners nationwide. No shortcuts.
Every service begins with a thorough pre-vacuum and inspection. Our technician assesses the carpet fiber type, identifies stains, and selects the appropriate cleaning approach.
We apply a targeted pre-treatment solution to break down embedded soils. Standard packages include Basic Spotting; Superior and Premier packages include Advanced Spotting for tougher stains.
For Superior and Premier packages, a Rotovac or Power Scrub machine mechanically agitates carpet fibers, loosening deep-set dirt and debris before extraction.
Hot water and cleaning solution are injected deep into the carpet under high pressure, then immediately extracted along with dissolved soils, bacteria, and allergens.
Carpet is groomed to restore pile direction and appearance. Premier includes Deodorizer and Speed Drying — reducing dry time to under 2 hours and leaving a fresh, clean scent.
Why Hot Water Extraction?
- Recommended by Shaw, Mohawk, and most carpet manufacturers
- Removes dirt, bacteria, allergens, and mold spores from deep in the fibers
- No soapy residue left behind that attracts new soil
- Safe for all carpet types including wool, nylon, polyester, and berber
- Eliminates odors at the source, not just masks them
Not satisfied? We'll return and re-clean the area at no charge. No questions asked. That's the Alpine promise.
We Clean All Carpet Types
Our technicians are trained to identify fiber types and select the right cleaning method for your specific carpet.
Why Spokane Valley Homes Need Regular Professional Carpet Cleaning
Spokane Valley's climate is hard on carpet. The long dry summers pull fine particulate dust and wildfire smoke through open windows and HVAC systems, embedding microscopic debris deep into carpet fibers long before it becomes visible. By fall, that invisible load is already affecting indoor air quality — especially for children and anyone with asthma or seasonal allergies. A quick vacuuming pass barely scratches the surface. The particles that matter most are the ones locked below the pile where a household vacuum simply cannot reach.
Winter brings its own challenges. Tracked-in road salt, dirt, and moisture from wet boots act like abrasive grit at the base of every fiber. Left untreated between seasons, that grit slowly cuts the carpet backing from the inside — shortening the life of what is likely one of the most expensive surfaces in your home. Most Spokane Valley homeowners don't realize their carpet is deteriorating until the texture changes and the damage is already done.
Then there's what you can't see at all. Carpets in an average home trap dead skin cells, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, and bacteria in quantities that genuinely surprise most people when described. Hot water extraction — the method Alpine uses exclusively — is the only cleaning approach proven to remove these contaminants at depth. Steam-and-vacuum machines from the hardware store operate at a fraction of the water pressure and heat of a truck-mounted unit, which means they agitate the surface without fully flushing the fiber. The result is damp carpet that can take 24 hours to dry, creating ideal conditions for mold growth.
Professional cleaning every 12 to 18 months isn't a luxury for Spokane Valley families — it's basic home maintenance. Keeping carpets clean protects your warranty, extends the life of the floor, and creates a measurably healthier space for the people and pets who live there. Alpine's truck-mounted hot water extraction system runs hotter, extracts deeper, and dries faster than any portable unit on the market. It's the same standard used in certified restoration work — applied to routine residential care.
How Alpine Compares to the Other Guys
Truck-Mounted Equipment — Not Portable Rentals
Our truck-mounted hot water extraction units generate heat and suction that portable machines physically cannot match. Higher heat kills bacteria and dust mites. Stronger suction means carpets dry in hours, not days — eliminating the mold risk that comes with slow-drying portable systems.
Upfront Pricing — No Bait-and-Switch
Our pricing is published and fixed. You know the cost before we arrive. No upsells after we've moved your furniture. No surprise charges for basic spotting or standard pre-treatment. What you see on our pricing page is what appears on your invoice.
Owner-Operated — Not a Franchise Call Center
Alpine is a locally owned Spokane Valley business, not a national franchise with an out-of-state call center and rotating crew. When you call, you reach the people who will actually clean your carpets — and who are invested in your experience because this is their business and their community.
24/7 Availability — Including Weekends and Holidays
Spills, floods, and move-out deadlines don't follow business hours. Alpine is available around the clock, every day of the year, with no after-hours surcharge. Same pricing at 11 PM on a Sunday as 10 AM on a Tuesday.
